2713 Brown Duck, White Wings, Canvasback?

still life, acrylic, 6" x 6" $100 click here to purchase

With the harbor mostly depleted of all the sailboats now, I've got some new friends, like the black stinky birds and a brown duck with white wings. I recently learned that boater's insurance ends on Nov 1, which explains why it's just me and the birds and the lobstermen and the brown duck with white wings, who did not answer to my duck calls, which may or may not be a canvasback duck.

2702 Before I Die. . .

sold still life, acrylic, 6" x 6"

The Before I Die installation goes up tomorrow, just in time for the 11th Annual Hingham Arts Walk.

The Arts Walk is this Sunday, October 23rd from noon - four.
I'll be at White Magdelena House, 69 Water Street, Hingham, MA

The wall will be in the square at the site of the former Lincoln Building. After receiving permission from the folks who work with artist/creator Candy Chang to construct our own, Brie, the dog and I acquired 24 feet of plywood at the lumberyard. Then it was off to BID production headquarters at White Magdelena House to chalkboard paint the surface. True to the project's intent, it's been a community affair so far with a little help from our friends.

She's more helpful and enthusiastic than she looks.
